September 30, 2009: Mexico Extends the 406 Requirement, DHS makes changes to website, support is critical:
Mexico City DGAC has just informed us that they have extended the 406 MHz ELT requirment to April 2, 2010. Pilots may fly in Mexico with the 121.5 ELT until April 2, 2010 at which time the 406 MHz ELT will be required.
DHS makes major changes to the eAPIS website making entering information much easer.
These changes were suggested and made possible, in part, by the BBP, AOPA, and other flying orginizations. And membership to BBP, AOPA, etc. is critical so that we have the funds to continue to work with both the US and Mexican governments to make flying safer and more enjoyable both in the States and across the borders.
Free eAPIS Service: The BBP has a program that will help you with your eAPIS requirements.... For current BBP Members for a limited time, we will register and open an account for you for no charge. Conditions apply, Click here
MedJet Service: A program that will provide medical evacuation from almost anywhere in the world to almost anywhere else in the world.... at a very low cost based on an annual MedJet membership fee.Click here
24/7 Mexican Liability Insurance: The BBP has put together a program that allows you to purchase Mexican Liability Insurance directly from the BBP Website, instantly. Click here

Blowout sale on aviation lots and hangers in Arizona Airpark - 12/21/2009
Live, play, and fly from Phoenix´s southeast valley community of Queen Creek at Pegasus, a new airpark located just below the San Tan Mountains in sunny Arizona.
Join Karaen & myself along with BBP members Dan Corey, Ken Foster, Gordon Bluth, Jack Becker, and others who own, are building, or live in this exciting new community.
And, now is the time as these one acre lots are being offered by the developers at an amazing low price.
Live the dream…. Invest with other like minded pilots in an airpark with a paved, lighted 4,000´ strip at prices that are so low they demand serious consideration.

Corrections to Airports of Mexico - 11/16/2009
We have added an additional menu choice to "Airports of Mexico" to show changes, additions, and or deletions to the airports/airstrips in the book.
We are requesting that our members be the eyes and ears for us regarding airports / airstrips.
If you see a change of a permanent nature to one of the airports that we have in the book or, if you see an addition that is registered with Mexico which is not listed, please let us know so that we can confirm and add to this area.
Thanks in advance for this help, Jack
Menu choice is listed towards the top of our menu choices
